Eric Cookson ERIC B. COOKSON is the Principal of Storm Front Training LLC. Storm Front Training LLC is a small business that provides training services relating to Equal Employment Opportunity. Eric is the former Equal Employment Opportunity Manager for the 13th Coast Guard District. He provided direction and guidance on all equal employment matters to seventy-five commands geographically dispersed throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana serving in excess of 5000 employees and managers. He was responsible for managing the discrimination complaint program, developing and publishing affirmative action plans, providing guidance and leadership to the special emphasis program managers and equal employment opportunity counselors, managing the alternate dispute resolution program and is a qualified mediator. He provided diversity, sexual harassment prevention, organizational communication, and leadership management training to over 9000 managers and employees. Eric is a 26 year veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He is a graduate of the 16 week Equal Opportunity Advisor course located at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute at Patrick AFB. Florida. Eric holds a Training and Development Diploma, is a Certified Master Trainer, Technical Trainer, Instructor Facilitator, E-Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer/Developer, and Training Manager/Director. Eric is certified in Human Resource Management and an Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in History from Excelsior College, Albany NY, and an Associates from the University of Phoenix. He is currently completing his Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from City University, Seattle, WA. Eric was born in Brockton, Massachusetts resides in his home town of Indianola, WA with his sons.
